The Hummingbird Soul Blog displays the journey of the Soul. Living life with passion and purpose is the only way to experience the full journey of the Soul. Who better to represent that than the hummingbird? The hummingbird reminds us that life is supposed to be lived with pure joy!
Since their lifespan is three to five years, the hummingbird lives every moment as if it was their last! Their little hearts beat 1,260 beats per minute. As a spirit animal, things in your life will speed up. Be ready, and be adaptable to new issues and circumstances. Be ready for life’s surprises. Be able to appreciate life’s little things like the smell of roses.
They are the best of all birds at flying, and can fly backwards and upside down. Light comes wherever they go, and negative disperses. This little bird shows one freedom and independence of the Soul. When you are living life according to your Soulful purpose, you are truly free! Being independent provides the opportunity for your Authentic Self to emerge, and be able to discover your own beliefs through experience. You make up your own mind to what you believe, and not have your beliefs based on what someone else told you.
The hummingbird prepares you for the journey you have ahead. It will help you to pay attention to the details. Conserve your endurance for the long road ahead. They possess courage and resilience, and tireless pursuit of an amazing happy life. Remember life is not meant to be taken so seriously; so laughing and being playful is a big part in your Soul’s journey.
The hummingbird represents the child inside yourself. The inner child is where your magic comes from. It is where the impossible becomes possible. Your inner child is the key for your Authentic Self to emerge. The hummingbird will help you learn to live life with laughter, joy, spirit, and open mindfulness.
You are meant to live life with purpose, passion, and laughter. Allow the hummingbird to be your companion and guide on your Soul’s journey throughout this life and all lives there after.
Meditation
Look up as you close your eyes. Breathe in and hold for the count of 4. Then breathe out for the count of 4. Repeat this pattern two more times. You are in a meadow on a nice sunny day. Everywhere you look are hummingbirds. You feel their immense positive energy and joy! One of the hummingbirds comes to you. Its unusual because it is white. An Albino (white) hummingbird means you are going to look at life from a new perspective and mindset. Breathe in and hold for the count of 4. Then breathe out for the count of four.

The white hummingbird tells you that it is your guide on your magical journey today. It invites you to fly with it. You must transform into a hummingbird to do accompany her. You agree. You begin to shrink. This maybe painful because transformation can be painful, and you are shrinking to the size of a salt shaker. As you are transforming, breathe in and hold for the count of 4. Then breathe out for the count of four.
Your transformation is complete. You are a beautiful rainbow hummingbird! Like the little thing, your heart is beating very fast, and before you know it, you see your guide flying off. You fly after her. You and your guide are playing and having fun. You are experiencing everything as if you never had experience it before. The colors are bolder, brighter, and they talk to you. Breathe in and hold for the count of 4. Then breathe out for the count of four.
While you are in flight, you feel the complete freedom of the wind, and the thrill of not having anything holding you back! You feel the power of Spirit and your personal power intensify! The power of love overflows you. The love of life itself! Breathe in and hold for the count of 4. Then breathe out for the count of four.
You come to a beautiful yard full of plants that their sole purpose is to give to the hummingbirds. This yard represents your Soul and Higher Self. Your guide shows you how to replenish your energy, vitality, and ambition. As you replenish, each flower tells you something about your Soul's journey and yours views on life. How deep do you go? What is the mindset you need to be in alignment with your Authentic Self? Breathe in and hold for the count of 4. Then breathe out for the count of four.
Once you finishing replenishing, you thank the plants. You follow your guide back to the original meadow you were in. Before you transform back, your guide tells you one more thing. "Learn to laugh at everything - yourself, the world, and your circumstances. Laughter is the most precious and powerful gift used to break and evaporate negative energies. It helps you to see life from a whole new perspective. Reminds you not to take life so seriously. Breathe in and hold for the count of 4. Then breathe out for the count of four.
You thank your guide, and she flies off. You watch her vanish. Then you transform back into your human self. Again, this may hurt because transformation is not always pleasant. Breathe in and hold for the count of 4. Then breathe out for the count of four. Open your eyes.
What did our friend, ancestor, and sister hummingbird tell you? What was its message about your mindset? Has your Authentic Self emerge, and if so, how do you maintain it above the surface? These are the questions the Hummingbird has answered. It is up to you to put them in action! Continue to make a difference in your life and others!
