One of the 7 African Powers, Orisha Obatala, also known as Orisa Nla, is Father Sky and creator of humanity. Obatala does not have a permanent gender, and can be either one, none at all, or both. According to legend, Obatala came down from the sky with a hen and pigeon to disperse soil that created the land. Ask Obatala for peace, forgiveness, resurrection, or a new start.
 
The Prayer Candle is devoted to Obatala, and comes complete with oils, herbs, and  prayed over with a specific intention. A white candle may be substituted. It can burn up to 80 hours. 8"x2"x2" inches.
